Recipe for refreshing watermelon slushy

Now that summer is at its peak, we are looking for recipes for handmade desserts and refreshing sweets.

Watermelon, perhaps the most typical summer fruit that is very moisturizing, becomes the basis for a wonderful slushy on sticks reminiscent of delicious watermelon slices, without added sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 a small watermelon
  • 3 kiwis
  • ice cream sticks

Implementation

Peel the watermelon, extracting around 400g. Remove the pips and mash up the fruit in a blender. Fill three-quarters of the way of the ice cream sticks. Dip each stick in the puree and put it in the freezer for at least three hours. Peel a kiwi, grate it and chop it in half. Melt separately. Fill over the frozen watermelon with a layer of white puree and leave it in the freezer again for an hour. Finish the slushy with the green puree.
